Voter Turnout.......Is our system reliable

As a first time voter this November, I'm both excited and apprehensive about casting my vote. In a recent article in US News and World Report, I read that this year's election will see a historic turnout of as many as 130 million voters nationwide, a figure that has a number of experts concerned over the pressure this massive number of ballots will but on election workers to count the votes correctly and accurately (we all remember Florida in 2000). This pressure is not only on them, in my opinion, but on young first time voters like myself as well. My only hope is that all parties involved will work their asses off in order to ensure that the votes are tallied correctly and the true voice of the American people (if there is such a thing) will be heard.
