Another hole in the wall

why is it that every time we have a party at my house, there's a whole in the wall the next morning. last night my roommate got in a fight with his girlfriend and hurled a 10 gallon aluminum stock pot into the wall, leaving a nice big whole that i don't think any amount of plaster will fix. at least i know that i ain't doin it.
